I am a woman, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a professional, a survivor, a wife, and a mother among many adjectives I’ll save for your own determination. I work full time in public health and diabetes prevention, facilitating training for health professionals. When I am not working I am likely fleeting between the mundane tasks of a household, running my son to or from school or some other activity, watching too much TV with my husband, and thinking, thinking, wondering and creating. I love to write and create. I have been writing my whole life and have felt at times that writing has saved my life.
I hope that you enjoy my reflections and that they make you feel less alone, make you laugh and perhaps on occasion make you reflect a little more deeply in your own world.
